National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)
NASA has partnered with REI for over 30 years to automate, improve, and manage its SBIR and STTR Program. REI supports the management, development, and digital modernization of several complex enterprise information-intensive systems and processes. We transformed and digitally modernized the systems into a flexible, efficient web-based system using an Agile Scrum framework.
Small Business Administration (SBA)
REI supports SBA’s SBIR.gov, a comprehensive AWS-hosted Drupal 9 SBIR hub that centralizes the sharing of data through a web portal. Since its inception, SBIR.gov has served over 10 million visitors supporting a diverse ecosystem of entrepreneurs, support organizations, and SBIR agencies. .
Department of Defense (DoD)
The DoD SBIR/STTR programs award over $1B annually to U.S. small businesses on competitively selected projects to acquire innovative technologies focused on DoD’s needs and requirements. Our Impact-Level 4, cloud-hosted solution is an an intuitive, user-friendly, flexible, microservices-based system which has helped the OSD streamline, automate and improve their manual, disparate and offline SBIR processes.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
EPA’s SBIR program supports small businesses in the commercialization of innovative technologies that contribute to EPA’s mission of protecting human health and the environment. REI replaced EPA’s legacy SBIR review support system with a modern, intuitive solution that creates efficiency and streamlines their review process and annual reporting to SBA. Since going live in 2021, EPA is now able to beat SBA’s 90-day turn-around requirement from solicitation close to award.
