REI Systems Wins Recompete Contract with DOJ Office of Justice Programs

REI will provide IT services to the Office of the Chief Information Officer in support of OJP’s technical portfolio.

Sterling, Va. – 19 October 2016 – REI Systems (REI) announced today that it is part of the winning team on the recompete contract with the Office of Justice Programs (OJP), part of the U.S. Department of Justice, to provide IT Enterprise Application Development Support Services. REI is subcontracted with CSRA to support services across OJP’s technical portfolio, including grants systems.

This contract renews REI’s prior contract with OJP from 2012. The $80M, 5 year contract calls for services such as technical program management and administration, technical expertise, data management, enterprise reporting/content analytics, development, modernization and enhancement (DME)/operations and maintenance (O&M) and legacy migration. REI will provide software development, engineering management, and database administration expertise along with CSRA.

In addition to providing web-based application development for DOJ, REI supports DOJ in providing grants management reimbursement for Bulletproof Vest Partnership grants, Local Law Enforcement Block Grants, and the Southwest Border Prosecution Initiative. The Bulletproof Vest Partnership, started in 1999, has provided funds towards over 1.1 million vests to law enforcement and correction officers nationwide. REI also operates and maintains the software it built, and staffs a help desk for grant applicants and DOJ professionals who administer grants.
