October 17, 2023 (Sterling, VA) – Indunil Ranaviraja has won Consulting Magazine’s 2023 Women Leaders in Consulting award in the Excellence in Client Service category, shining a spotlight on her outstanding leadership, dedication to mission impact, and community-building efforts.
Ranaviraja joined REI Systems in 2015, bringing a master’s degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a wealth of experience from leading consulting firms and global development organizations. As REI’s head of Management Consulting, she is dedicated to a straightforward mission: Mindful Modernization – pairing digital transformation efforts with curated management consulting services to help customers radically improve government.
An entrepreneurial leader and catalyst for growth, Ranaviraja built the Management Consulting business from the ground up, expanding the client base through a laser focus on customer success and mission impact.

Ranaviraja also champions giving back, both within REI and the wider community. She launched IGNITE, REI’s women’s leadership forum, and has also been a driving force in making the company home for all. She is equally devoted to cultivating the next generation of leaders and firmly believes in the value of public and private sector partnerships. Whether she’s guiding customers in their career development journeys or helping mentees with career transitions into government, consulting, or nonprofits, Ranaviraja stands as their unwavering supporter throughout their journeys.
