Sterling, Va. – 19 January 2017 – REI Systems was selected by The District of Columbia, Department of Health (DC DOH) to configure, implement, and provide a total enterprise grants management solution on GovGrants® for their five independent grant-making administrations. Since its deployment in March 2015, GovGrants has established a clear set of uniform procedural directives, templates, and tools for the department and has interfaced with other enterprise systems, including Washington DC’s financial system (SOAR).

As part of this deployment, REI moved existing manual grants-related operations and procedures into an online environment using GovGrants. GovGrants’ electronic automation allows DC DOH to track applications, provide status reporting, and manage the routing and approval within the DOH administrations and offices. The ability to track and report on grants data at multiple levels is done on one unified system. GovGrants also gives DC DOH the ability to aggregate reporting for all Administrations to supplement Congressional reporting needs.

GovGrants supports 200 applicants/sub-recipient users, 100 internal users, and approximately 50 external application reviewers. DC DOH publishes approximately 30 funding opportunities per year, with GovGrants supporting all incoming applications for these opportunities.
