Mark Olson

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at REI Systems, Mark Olson is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring fiscal discipline, and driving profitability across the organization. With a track record of delivering operational excellence, Mark brings over 20 years of experience in managing large-scale financial portfolios and executing growth strategies that have consistently led to impressive bottom-line results. He thrives in environments where complex financial challenges meet the need for innovative, results-driven solutions.

Mark’s career spans diverse leadership roles across multiple global IT providers, with his most recent position at Peraton, where he was Vice President and General Manager responsible for the Department of Homeland Security & Diplomacy business unit, a $600M annual portfolio and led significant growth, initiatives, resulting in $4B in pipeline conversion. He has also overseen M&A activities and has deep expertise in developing financial strategies for both federal agencies and global commercial enterprises. His financial acumen is matched by his ability to foster collaborative relationships, both internally and externally, to drive business success.

A magna cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Fredonia, Mark earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Finance. He has been recognized for his contributions in business integration, financial governance, and talent management, building high-performing teams that deliver consistent results.

Mark’s strategic leadership ensures that REI Systems remains financially agile, enabling the company to continue providing cutting-edge technology solutions to its federal and commercial clients. When not in the office, Mark enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and spending quality time with family and friends.  He lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with his wife, Adrienne, and their two daughters.
